Reaching the southern bay from town or the airport
Phu Quoc Khem Beach sits 25 km southeast of Duong Dong and 12 km from Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC). That short distance from the airport makes it the closest major beach to PQC, and a common choice for a first or last day on the island.

From the airport, a taxi or Grab takes about 20 minutes. From Duong Dong or Long Beach, allow 35 to 45 minutes by taxi or Grab.
Practical tips
Self-drive scooters are another option. The coastal ride south has sea views from the Sao Beach junction onward, so leave time to stop along the way.

When you arrive, head for the designated public swimming area at the eastern end of the bay, which is open to everyone. Other stretches of the beach belong to private developments.
